Search Engine - TCG has developed its own search engine with the use of leading search technology. Our search engine called Fetch, only searches within our healthy internet environment therefore it does not return inappropriate results. Because TCG is not a filter, results are instantaneous. There is no slowing down of your computer.
User Interface - TCG has developed home page themes for our key user groups. These groups are Under 7’s, 7 to 12 year olds and teens.
Parent’s Dashboard — Parents are presented with a console that allows configuration of a number of settings for their individual children.
They can add or remove specific sites and can also control access around specific days/times or length of access. Social networking sites, for example, are not included in our protected zone but can be added by the parent via the Parent’s Dashboard if they consider it appropriate for any of their children.
Parents also have the option of only allowing access at particular times so that children cannot access during homework time or after lights out.
There is also a chores area enabling parents to reward a child with additional time ‘online’ if they complete their tasks.
